Hi, I am Dr. Kyser

Dr. Kyser received her Ph.D in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas Wesleyan University, her Master's of Education Degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas, and her Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Pre-Med emphasis from Texas Wesleyan University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a thriving private practice in the Entertainment District of North Arlington. She has thirteen years of experience as a Certified School Counselor. Dr. Kyser has served as a licensed therapist for collegiate athletes at Texas Christian University and is a Board Member of the North Central Texas Counseling Association. Dr. Kyser received extensive training in Solution-Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy while studying abroad in London, England. Dr. Kyser is a trauma trained therapist who has served as a Family Advocate for homicide and suicide survivors at Tarrant County's Medical Examiner's Office. Dr. Kyser's specialties include: trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harming ideation/behaviors, family, relationship, and marital issues. She has been married to her loving and supportive husband for 24 years and they have two handsome sons.

Hi, I am Carl Lewis

Mr. Carl Lewis Jr. earned his Masters of Education in Counseling at Tarleton State University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Carl has clinical experience working in Christian counseling centers, public crisis centers, and public school facilities. He has counseled individuals, couples, groups, and even taught parent education classes. Carl is also a certified educator in the state of Texas.

Carl has experience working with people of varying age groups and clinical needs. He has worked with individuals suffering from depression and anxiety, couples in crisis, families in dysfunction, youth with Asperger’s Syndrome, children and adults dealing with grief, and victims and predators of abuse. Carl’s personal therapy style combines his existential perspective with an active directive approach.
